Labor of Love

I would like to thank all who have supported our labor of love over the past year. Creating animal wall decor together has been very therapeutic for my parents and I.

At 79 and 83 years young, my Mom and Dad have had their share of health struggles. My Dad lives with one lung after surviving a battle with lung cancer. My Mom has survived two heart attacks and keeps on pushing forward.

They both have put their passions for art on hold for many years. Mom raised 6 kids and we never knew she liked to paint. She didn't have the time to pursue her love for painting while raising our family. Dad had to quit working in his shop for many years because of his illness.

I am very happy to say that they are both creating again.

Through the Covid shutdown, we, along with the rest of the world, were going a little stir crazy. Together we started creating gift ideas that we could each contribute to. My Dad cuts the shapes on his scroll saw. My Mom does the poured paintings, and I finish the piece off with an epoxy resin top coat. We have created many custom pieces for birthdays, holidays and fundraisers. We will continue adding pieces to the website as we create them.

Working together has been a great reminder to enjoy the little things in life and thank God for each day we are given. I am so blessed to have my parents by my side in daily life as well as being able to create together. This has definitely been a labor of love for all of us and we are happy creating something special for others.

Thank you all for your continued love and support.
